The healthy altitude above the Moselle valley and the idyllic location of the estate “Lichtberg” with its 2 cottages and 1.500 sqm garden plus hiking trails on your doorstep make these two organic cottages in southwest Germany a special place. It is an almost magical idyll with wonderful energy, healing waters and with a silence, that can rarely be experienced anymore.

Here individuals, couples, groups and families with children can have a wonderful time – be that for just one good night’s sleep or for a long, quiet, healthy holiday.

At this idyllic place 70 sqm living space (cottage Lichtberg 1) or 45 sqm living space (cottage Lichtberg 2) plus a large patio awaits you.

The large garden – a beautiful meadow – is suitable for recreation, meditation, reading, music, playing, celebrations …

At the top of the meadow, guests (adults and children) can also let off steam without disturbing other guests on their terrace, because the meadow of the“ Lichtberg“ property is huge.

The old buildings are under monumental protection and have been renovated exclusively with top standard ecological materials; all technology is new. Each cottage has its own patio with an electric barbecue (including mains connection) and solid wood furniture.

Both cottages have their own parking place for one car. A green holiday without a car is also possible here. Next to the mountain, in the Ruwer valley, there is a beautiful, large outdoor swimming pool; in Trier there are two outdoor pools and a very beautiful indoor pool. There are fast train and bus connections to Luxembourg (20 km) and to France (35 km).

The Moselle valley, which is also world famous as a wine valley, enjoys an idyllic landscape with old castles and impressive villages on the banks of the river. The metropolis of the Moselle is Trier, the oldest city in Germany. Founded by the Romans in 17 BC, nine monuments in Trier were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986.

Trier is a very fascinating city, where you can admire many traces of ancient and recent history – from the Roman baths to the famous Roman city gate “Porta Nigra”, the medieval market place and the Karl-Marx-Museum.

But there is also a wealth of young art, culture and varied gastronomy to discover and enjoy the lively “Savoir Vivre” of a friendly, up-and-coming city in the border triangle – together with France and Luxembourg.
